Put to Store is the process of moving inbound goods directly to the store delivery staging area instead of storing them in the warehouse. It is commonly used in cross-docking operations, where products are pre-allocated for retail stores or customers before arrival.
Unlike standard putaway, Put to Store skips warehouse storage and focuses on quick turnover, enabling faster replenishment and lower handling time.
