Zone Master defines a group of locations that share a similar purpose or characteristics within a warehouse. Zones are areas within the warehouse designated for specific types of products or tasks (e.g., receiving, storage, packing, shipping), used to segment warehouse space logically, enabling efficient routing, picking strategies, and task assignments.

How to Create a Zone?

1. From the side menu bar, go to Master Data > Zone, click on the “Add” button.

1. Fill in all the required fields.

• Select a warehouse from the list.
• Select a customer from the list.
• Enter the Zone name and description.
• Choose a zone type.
  • There are 3 types of indicators for selection.
    • All Type: For inbound and outbound
    • Inbound Type: Only Inbound allowed
    • Outbound Type: Only outbound allowed
• Status is set to Active by default.
• Optional:
  • Pick Sequence: Picking task will follow this sequence to create task based on setting. Value will calculate based on ascending.
  • Putaway Sequence: Putaway task will follow this sequence to create task based onsetting. Value will calculate based on ascending.

1. Click save.
2. Zone created.
